Dragon's Breath Racing traveled to Nashville, TN for the 3rd race of the National Motorcycle Racing Association of 2008. They went in at 3rd place, rose to second, only to get bumped back to 3rd again. With aother run under their belt, the team moved back up to second place with a formidable foe in 1st place. Roo was so excited that he called home with updates every hour or so. With little hope of taking first palce, the guys were not sure what to do with themselves in the pit as the bike was still running great and didn't need much attention.
Finally they were called to the staging area and got set to make a mad dash for first place. With lady luck on their side, their oopnent's bike broke at the triple tree and they went to the winner's circle to collect the moolah!
This is great for the team! They have been racing for three years and now have 2 bikes to jet down the track. The new bike has had its troubles through out last year's racing season, but it would seem the kinks are worked out! Thumbs up to all of you "need for speed" racing bums! GOOD JOB!! Congratulations are in order for Shorty, the guy that blasts down the track! The next racing adventure will be in Gulfport, MS at the Asgard's Memorial Day Blow Out! We really are racing this year-the rain has been a hassle but...The Dragon's Breath is flaming down the tracks and in the running for First Place in the AMRA Circuit again this year! Good job, Guys!
